  • Hello My Italian sisters. My daughter, a teacher in Myrtle Beach is getting married in 3 weeks in Conway, November 25, to a southern man. My Italian gentleman friend of 15 years lived in NJ, passed away a month ago, I found out on FB, his family did not notify me, heartbroken. He was just ready to order all the food, wonderful man. Now I need a few cheap, quick, delicious recipes, to cook myself, with help of my sister and other 2 daughters. For 100 people, we all know how important the food is at a wedding, anytime. Being disabled for 25 years, nothing will stop me,from cooking my daughters food. So, please send me, recipes, already making roasted chicken, baked ziti. Cake is ordered and my sister is making a dessert spread, cookies and tiramisu, fruit, etc. I have never cooked for 100 before, I need amounts along with recipes. A few vegetable choices, another meat, thinking pork loin. Food in pictures are beautiful, not easy to make for 100. Please pray for me, should have started with that, God Bless all. Will read all recipes, This is one of the most important days in my life, I am lost. My cousins from NJ, are not coming, age and illness, my shoulders and rocks, without family, I am hopeless. Please for one day, be my family, and direct me. Love, Jude

    • Hello Jude. Oh my gosh! At this moment,I am planning a large family gathering for my granddaughter”s birthday. So we are all cooking together with my daughters. If you send me your phone number we can talk and I can help you figure out what you need and give you some ideas. A pasta and 2 meats either pork loin or grilled sausage and peppers is plenty along with a large green salad and some veggies like french green beans or a zucchini, carrot and squash medley should be perfect!
